Kathleen Marie Fay

Kathleen M. Fay, age 78 of Flint, Michigan died peacefully in her sleep at home in Centerville, Ohio on Thursday February 23, 2023. A resident of Flint Michigan for most of her life, she attended St. Mary’s Catholic School K-12. Kathy followed in her mother’s footsteps and worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital / Genesis Healthcare Systems, where she touched the lives of numerous people for 34 years. Once retired, she relocated to Centerville, Ohio to be near her son Greg & his family. Kathy loved riding her bike; in fact, you may have had the occasion to see her, as her riding adventures took her all over town. Many were blessed because of Kathy’s kind servant heart. She spent countless hours volunteering her time in Southbrook Church’s Cancer Hope Ministry, and spending time with her Bible study sisters, Mar, Shelly & Momma Flo. Kathy’s caring spirit extended to furry friends, too. Anybody that knew Kathy, knew she loved cats, and she had two kitty companions almost to the very end. Kathy was joyful and fun-loving. Her smile lit up the room and her laughter was infectious. Kathy’s life foundation was built on her relationship with God. She attended Southbrook Christian Church faithfully from 2005 – present and loved the Lord with all her heart. She spoke frequently about being greeted by Jesus when she passed, and then being reunited with family. Kathy was joyfully anticipating her reunion with her son Chris, who passed away in 1988. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Fay; parents Wilfred and Leona Plamondon; brothers Norbert Plamondon, Ronald Plamondon, Mickey Plamondon & Tommy Plamondon; and her sister Francis Musolf. Memories of Kathy will be treasured by her loving son Greg and Stacey Hinkle-Fay; granddaughter Laci and Michael Jividen; granddaughter Leah and Ryan Stone; grandson Ryan Fay; grandson Logan Fay; grandson Zach Hinkle; granddaughter Taylor Hinkle; and great-grandchildren Anika and Gabriel Jividen. The family welcomes you to join them in honoring Kathy as they celebrate her life at 4:00 pm on Sunday March 5, 2023, at Southbrook Christian Church, 9095 Washington Church Rd., Miamisburg, Ohio.
